Basic Functionality Testing

Basic functionality testing includes:

• Validating that the program correctly installs and uninstalls on the native operating system
• Verifying the user interface and related options, such as whether text strings fit properly in dialog boxes, and that currency, time, etc., are correct and follow the correct formats
• Confirming that all text strings are in the appropriate language
• Substantiating that the final localized product functions as required
  

Advanced Functionality Testing

Advanced functionality testing includes all of the features of basic functionality testing, but also includes native language Test Engineers who can provide an enhanced level of actual linguistic quality assurance as part of the testing. Advanced functionality testing includes:

• Checking the product for linguistic consistency both within the program and between the software components and help files
• Verifying that spelling, grammar, and sort order are correct for the localized version.
• Verifying that idiomatic usage is correct throughout the localized product.
  

Comprehensive Testing

Comprehensive testing uses trained translators and trained software engineers to conduct both comprehensive linguistic and functionality testing.

We have over 185 localized images, ranging from FIGS (French, Italian, German, and Spanish) to Japanese, Chinese, Russian, and many others, all ready for language testing on both Novell NetWare and Microsoft Windows Operating Systems. These localized images comprise 26 different languages and include various interim Support and Service Pack releases to ensure that no realistic localized environment is neglected.
